Day to Day Itinerary:
- DAY 1: Fly from SFO or LAX to New Delhi on Singapore Airlines.
- DAY 2: ARRIVE SINGAPOREUpon arrival in Singapore, transfer to hotel and check in at your hotel of choice. Overnight in Singapore for 2 Nights.
- DAY 3: FREE DAY AT LEISURE
- DAY 4: ARRIVE IN DELHITransfer to airport for flight to New Delhi. Late evening; arrive Delhi and welcomed by our office Executive/representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Delhi (Vehicle for transfer).
- DAY 5: IN NEW DELHIAfter breakfast, proceed for visit of Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi: An ancient walled city. Here you will drive past Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Visit of Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi. Then proceed for visit of New Delhi includes visits to the Qutab Minar 72 meters high and one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world. The Iron Pillar which has survived the vagaries of weather for over 1500 years. Lotus Temple - known as'Bahai House of Worship', this 20th century wonder made of marble in the form of a white half-opened lotus flower. Then drive around President House, Parliament and India Gate and Government Buildings, Embassy Area etc.
- DAY 6: IN NEW DELHI- JAIPURAfter breakfast drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check in at the hotel. Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, is the capital of the state of Rajasthan. The old city of Jaipur is partially encircled with seven gates - the major gates are Chandpol, Sanganeri, and Ajmer. The 'pink city' label, applies specifically, to the old walled quarter of the Rajasthan’s capital, while in the northeast of the town, glorious palaces and temples, in an assortment of styles, spanning centuries, are scattered throughout the, predominantly, urban area. It is an extremely colorful city, and in the evening light, the pink and the orange buildings exude a magical glow, which is complemented by the vibrantly attired Rajasthan’s. Camel drawn carts are characteristic of Jaipur's passing street scene. In the evening you can visit Jaipur city and bazaars. Overnight at Hotel.
- DAY 7: IN JAIPURBreakfast at Hotel, Morning excursion to Amber Fort with Elephant Ride where you climb up the fort on elephant’s back (Elephant Subject to availability) like the Maharajas and visit the Amber Palace of the Kuchchawa rulers, Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city visiting City Palace - the former Royal Residence, part of which is now converted into a Museum; Hawa Mahal (photo stop) - The Palace of the Winds, a five storey building with semi octagonal and delicately honey combed sandstone windows and finally visit the Jantar Mantar – built in the 18th century, one of the largest stone and marble crafted astronomical observatory in the world. [Evening Optional Dinner at Chokhi Dhani (on direct payment basis) is heralded as an ethnic village resort situated 15kms from Jaipur; Village consists of mud huts, temples, wells, small teashops providing hot fries and sweets. An old musician plays a short tune to welcome each guest. You can enjoy folk dances, magic shows, puppet shows & many other things here].Returned to Hotel and overnight stay.
- DAY 8: JAIPUR- RANATHAMBOREMorning breakfast after drive to Ranthambore and upon arrival at Ranthambore check-in to hotel.[Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger's conservation efforts in Rajasthan. It extends over an area of 392 sq kms of thick forests and abounds in scenic beauty, requisite refuge for both the carnivore and herbivore. The numerous valleys and flat hilltops form picturesque surroundings of the 13th century historical Ranthambore Fort. The Tiger is the main predators found in this reserve. Hyena and Jackal are the scavengers; Sloth Bear and Wild Boar are the main carnivore. The main herbivores found in this park are Spotted Deer, Sambar, “Nilgai” (Blue Bull) Antelope, “Chinkara” (Indian gazelle) and the common Langur] - Evening Safari by shared Canters to Ranthambore National park for wild life viewing. Overnight at hotel.
- DAY 9: IN RANATHAMBOREMorning and evening safari by shared canters to Ranthambore National Park for wild life viewing. Overnight at hotel (on Full Board).
- DAY 10: RANATHAMBORE- AGRAMorning breakfast after drive to Agra, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri - the abandoned, Red Sandstone City built in the 16th century by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, one of India's greatest rulers. Remarkably broadminded for his time, this Muslim king married a Rajputs princess in order to win over his Hindu subjects. The architecture of Fatehpur Sikri is a combination of Hindu and Muslim styles, expressing Akbar's vision of synthesizing the cultures. Upon arrival at Agra check-in to hotel & overnight stay.
- DAY 11: IN AGRABreakfast at Hotel and proceed for visit of massive AGRA FORT, which was seat of Mughal rulers for decades, then Sunset visit of Taj Mahal, a monument of love and imagination that represents India to the world. The Taj Mahal is perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. Emperor Shahjahan constructed this most famous and incomparable Mughal monument in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is the most extravagant monument ever built for love and is amazingly graceful from almost any angle though it is the close up detail, which is really astounding, Sunrise and sunset are the best times to view the Taj Mahal though it is also open for viewing for 2 days before and 2 days after full moon nights. (Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays) – Overnight stay.
- DAY 12: AGRA- NEW DELHIBreakfast at Hotel and transfer to Delhi, upon arrival in Delhi our office representative meet and take you for Farewell Dinner at a selected restaurant. Later Transfer to Delhi International Airport to the flight to onward destination, with unforgettable memories of colors and culture of your India Holidays.
