Day to Day Itinerary:
- DAY 1: DEPARTURE SFO/LAX.Depart from San Francisco/Los Angeles on Singapore Airlines.
- DAY 2: YANGONArrival in Yangon. Meet with guide and transfer to hotel. Visit Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset. The Shwedagon Pagoda is the highlight of any visit to Yangon, the pagoda towers over the city and is teh most sacred spot in the country, built to house eight hair relics of the Buddha. Overnight in Yangon.
- DAY 3: YANGON-MANDALAY(Breakfast)After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, sightsee Amarapura and MAndalay. Visitthe Mahagandayon Monastery, Mahamuni Paya, Shwenandaw Kyaung, Kyaukawgyi Paya, Dandamani Paya, and Kuthodaw Paya. At night, visit the Mandalay Marionette Theatre. Overnight in Mandalay.
- DAY 4: MANDALAY(Breakfast)Full day at leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.
- DAY 5: MANDALAY - BAGAN(BREAKFAST/DINNER) Transfer for flight from Mandalay to Bagan. Bagan is a spectacular plain stretching away from the Ayeyarwaddy River, dotted with thousands of 800 year old temple ruins. Visit the Shwezigon Paya, Gubyaukhyi Temple, Ananda Pahto, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Manuha Temple, Shwesandaw Paya, and Lacquerware Workshop. Later visit Nan MYint Tower for view over Bagan. Overnight in Bagan.
- DAY 6: BAGAN (BREAKFAST)Full day at leisure. Overnight in Bagan.
- DAY 7: BAGAN-YANGON (BREAKFAST) Start the day at one of the local markets, stopping to observe the bustle of early morning activity. Continue to the Sule Pagoda, a gleaming octagonal pagoda that stands squarely at the centerpoint of the city. Afterwards, visit the National Museum to gain insight into Myanmar. See the eight meter high Sihansana Lion Throne, used by the last Burmese Kind, and other fascinating artifacts from Burmese history and culture. FInally, visit the Kandawgyi Lake and stroll near the unique Karaweik Hall, built in the form of a traditional royal barge. From here, there are magnificent view of Shwedagon Pagoda across the lake. Overnight in Yangon.
- DAY 8: DEPARTURE(BREAKFAST) Transfer to airport for flight to next destination.
