Day to Day Itinerary:

• DAY 1: DEPARTUREDepart via Singapore Airlines from SFO/LAX
• DAY 2: CHENNAI-MAMALLAPURAMUpon arrival our executive will meet you at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Mamallapuram.
• DAY 3: MAMALLAPURAMMorning, sightseeing of Mamallapuram. Trip starts at Arjuna's Penance, later to Five Rathas, and end at Shore Temple. After sightseeing go for a traditional Indian lunch on a banana boat. Overnight in Mamallapuram
• DAY 4: MAMALLAPURAMMorning henna painting in a local house, where you get experience to mingle with local Indian family. and a photo session wearing Indian costume. Evening at 5 p.m. one hour Yoga session. (Overnight in Mamallapuram)
• DAY 5: MAMALLAPURAM- KUMBAKKONAMMorning after breakfast, drive to Kumbakonam. Enrotue visit temple at Gangaikonda Cholapuram. After take a visit to the Silk Weaving at a near by place. Onward drive to Kumbakonam. Overnight in Kumbakonam.
• DAY 6: KUMBAKONAM- TANJOREMorning breakfast. Checkout and drive to Velankanni and later drive to Tanjore. In the evening, visit the world famous Brihadishwara temple (houses one of Asia¡¯s biggest Nandi ¨Cthe bull). Then visit the Bronze gallery at the palace museum. Overnight in Tanjore.
• DAY 7: TANJORE- TRICHY- MADURAICheck out from hotel after early breakfast and drive to Trichy. After morning sightseeing in Trichy. Then on visit the local market at the main town. Break for lunch at a nice city hotel and onward drive to the old city of Tamil Nadu. On arrival you will check in the hotel and in the evening visit Meenakshi temple. Overnight in Madurai.
• DAY 8: MADURAIMorning after breakfast, sightseeing tour of Madurai by bicycle rickshaw. On the bicycle rickshaw visit the Meenakshi temple, Flower/Fruit and Spice market, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum, Small scale Industry like Vessel making and Cloth making. Overnight in Madurai.
• DAY 9: MADURI- PERIYAR/THEKKADYCheck out from hotel after breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and drive to Periyar (also known as Thekkady) On arrival, check into hotel. At 4:00 in the afternoon, leave for a guided plantation tour to the nearby garden. Overnight in Periyar.
• DAY 10: PERIYAR/THEKKADYEarly morning at 6:00am you can go on a guided jungle walk at the Periyar tiger reserve national park. Return to hotel and rest. OPTIONAL: At 3:30 P.M> in the afternoon leave for the most popular boat trip at the National Park. Overnight in Thekkady.
• DAY 11: THEKKADY- COCHINCheck out from hotel and drive to Cochin. Upon arrival, check into hotel and go on a sightseeing tour around Cochin where you will visit the old part of Fort Cochin and Mattancherry. Here experience the Portuguese influence by visiting the Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church and Santa Cruz Basilica. Visit a Jewish Synagogue, a fishing market and the famous Chinese fishing net. In the Evening at 5:45 visit the popular classical dance-drama of Kerala "Kathakali." Overnight in Cochin.
• DAY 12: COCHIN- ALLEPPEY (House Boat Cruise: Alleppy Round Trip)Depart from hotel and drive down to the land of backwaters-Alleppey. In Alleppey cruise on the traditional House Boat of Kerala Style. On the house Boat you will experience the food of Kerala, sunbathing on the deck and observe the daily activates of the village people, living in the Backwaters area. Overnight on a houseboat.
• DAY 13: ALLEPPEY- KOVALAMDrive to Kovalam, one of the most popular beach destinations in Kerala and check into your hotel. Day at leisure on the beach. Overnight at Kovalam
• DAY 14 & 15:KOVALAMAfter breakfast day in Kovalam. Free day at leisure. Overnight in Kovalam.
• DAY 16: KOVALAM- TRIVANDRUDeparture transfer to the Trivandrum Airport for flight back home.
